With Easter long weekend rapidly approaching (YAY for some extra family days!), I thought I would do a quick roundup of some of the events going on around the North Shore for families to partake in. There are many events to check out this weekend, and I want to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun!

The Lions Club will be hosting an event at Heywood Park in North Vancouver from 10:30am to 12:30pm. An Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:30am sharp. Kids will also get to meet the Easter bunny! Additionally, there will be a bouncy castle, a juggler, a balloon lady and face painting! Sounds perfect for kids of all ages.

1) The Lions Club will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday as well at John Lawson Park in West Vancouver. This one is from 1-2pm. This gives you enough time to collect some eggs at Dundarave beach, stroll the seawall toward John Lawson Park and collect even more eggs! Double the fun for you and your kids!

2) Cobb’s Bread will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver that will include a visit from the Easter Bunny and kids’ craft activities. You can find more information here: http://www.lonsdalequay.com/events.php
3) Grouse Mountain will be offering their famous Easter Brunch that has a special children’s buffet. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt led by the Easter Bunny. See the link for additional information: http://www.grousemountain.com/events/easter-brunch-2012
